In
your AlohaShop admin, go to the Gift Certificates page and enter the
amounts you would like to offer for gift certificates - I usually set
it up as $10, $30, $60 and $100 but you can do whatever you want.
To finish the gift certificate setup, you will need to log in to your Mals-E administration at http://www.mals-e.com and follow the instructions below:
Select "Cart Set-Up".
Select "Vouchers".
Under "Voucher Mask", enter CMMYYNNNN
Under Code 1:
In the 'Type' field, select the type A fixed value of
In the 'Amount' field, enter 10.00 [or whatever your first GC amount is]
In the 'Issue Min' field, enter 1000
In the 'Issue Max' field, enter 1999
Under Code 2:
In the 'Type' field, select the type A fixed value of
In the 'Amount' field, enter 30.00 [or whatever your second GC amount is]
In the 'Issue Min' field, enter 2000
In the 'Issue Max' field, enter 2999
Under Code 3:
In the 'Type' field, select the type A fixed value of
In the 'Amount' field, enter 60.00 [or whatever your third GC amount is]
In the 'Issue Min' field, enter 3000
In the 'Issue Max' field, enter 3999
Under Code 4:
In the 'Type' field, select the type A fixed value of
In the 'Amount' field, enter 100.00 [or whatever your fourth GC amount is]
In the 'Issue Min' field, enter 4000
In the 'Issue Max' field, enter 4999
Select 'Update Record' to save.
Your
gift certificates are now set up and ready for customer purchase. After
a customer purchases a gift certificate you will receive an email with
the gift certificate voucher number. It is up to you at this point to
send the gift certificate to your customer (via email, mail, fax,
whatever).
