If you are ready to use your new store immediately:
Then you will need to change your domain's nameservers (or you'll sometimes see it as DNS). Nameservers tell your domain which server to point visitors to. Upon signing up for our hosting, you will get a welcome email containing the nameservers. Then log in to the site where you registered your domain name and find the nameserver section (it will vary depending on where you registered your domain). Update the nameservers to those found in the hosting welcome email from us.
The change doesn't happen immediately, it may take up to 72 hours and it may happen for some people sooner than others.
Note: If you have an existing site, make sure you set up any existing email accounts in the new cpanel before updating nameservers.
If you have an existing site that you want to keep live until the new one is ready to launch:
Then you may wait until the new store is ready before you update your nameservers. When you sign up with us, your welcome email will contain temporary URLs to use for logging in to your new store to get it ready for the nameserver switch.
